MythArchive mkiso.fs failure
I just upgraded from Fedora 22 to Fedora 26. So, I am now on version
fixes/29.0 [v29.0-v29.0-57-gd743ef49a8]

I've always had this problem with Archiving and finally want to inquire
about fixing it:

2018-01-07 07:39:01.954341 E [7518/7518] CoreContext main.cpp:152
(createISOImage) - Failed while running mkisofs. Result: 1

I'm afraid I have always found the MythArchive logs and, particularly,
the failure messages singularly unhelpful. I've just archived a short
recording, cut and converted to .mpg, to .iso without problems, using
Master without my usual tweaks aimed at DVD creation.

This is what I see:

[john@HP_Box logs]$ cd /home/john/mArchive/work
[john@HP_Box work]$ cd ..
[john@HP_Box mArchive]$ ls
config logs work
[john@HP_Box mArchive]$ cd logs
[john@HP_Box logs]$ ls -l
total 8
-rw-rw-r--. 1 john john 4766 Jan 7 14:20
mytharchivehelper.20180107142023.5055.log
[john@HP_Box logs]$ cd ..
[john@HP_Box mArchive]$ cd work
[john@HP_Box work]$ ls -l
total 341964
-rw-rw-r--. 1 john john 350169088 Jan 7 14:20 mythburn.iso
drwxrwxr-x. 2 john john 104 Jan 7 14:20 The Simpsons
[john@HP_Box work]$ cd "The Simpsons"
[john@HP_Box The Simpsons]$ ls -l
total 341600
-rw-r--r--. 1 john john 349321216 Jan 7 14:20 1004_20180106111300.mpg
-rw-r--r--. 1 john john 324170 Jan 7 14:20 1004_20180106111300.mpg.png
-rw-rw-r--. 1 john john 145610 Jan 7 14:20 1004_20180106111300.mpg.xml
[john@HP_Box The Simpsons]$

I won't paste the logfile here, but the full one, rather that the RHS
that is displayed. might give something useful.

<snip>

I've just looked at the code.

/mythtv-master/mythplugins/mytharchive/mytharchivehelper/main.cpp

Within a few lines there are trivially different examples of a useful
error message providing details of what is being attempted and how, and
this one, that essentially says "Oops" and quits.
------------
lines 125-131
uint res = myth_system(command);
if (res != GENERIC_EXIT_OK)
{
LOG(VB_JOBQUEUE, LOG_ERR,
QString("Failed while running %1. Result:
%2").arg(command).arg(res));
return false;
}
------------

and the relevant lines here, 148-154

uint res = myth_system(command);
if (res != GENERIC_EXIT_OK)
{
LOG(VB_JOBQUEUE, LOG_ERR,
QString("Failed while running mkisofs. Result: %1") .arg(res));
return false;
}
