What renderer, interlacer for CrystalHD card
Hi,

Got my crystalhd card and recompiled with trunk/svn. All went well and
i've set up the decoder as crystalhd in the settings. but unsure what i
should use for the renderer, and primary/secondary deinterlacer. My
understanding that the crystalhd can do deinterlacing also but there
doesn't seem to be an option for it or do i just set it to 'none' ?

My logs show the correct card and such

Running DIL (3.20.0) Version
DtsDeviceOpen: Opening HW in mode 0
2010-10-16 22:06:41.791 CrystalHD: Device: BCM70015
2010-10-16 22:06:41.791 CrystalHD: Library : 20.0.5123
2010-10-16 22:06:41.791 CrystalHD: Driver : 8.0.2818572419
2010-10-16 22:06:41.791 CrystalHD: Firmware: 60.39.2869064643
Scaling command param 0x0,ctx_scal:0x0

But i'm getting frequent

2010-10-16 22:07:03.909 CrystalHD: Decoder reported format change.
2010-10-16 22:07:03.918 CrystalHD: Decoder reported format change.
2010-10-16 22:07:04.369 CrystalHD: Decoder reported format change.
2010-10-16 22:07:04.775 CrystalHD: Decoder reported format change.

when watching a channels (i.e. not switching channels).

Anyone know what else i need to do for crystalhd ?

thanks for any help
D

The CrystalHD is a decoder, not an output card. It is a replacement for
the 'standard' decoder. You need to use Xv or OpenGL just like before.

I've pretty much used the defaults since I've started with Myth, so forgive
me if this is an obvious question.

Assuming I want to use the CrystalHD to decode anything 720p and above... I
should have the "Match criteria" set to >= 1280 x 720, correct?

If I wanted it do everything, it would be <= 1920 x 1088?
