Problem loading sql plugins (was Has anyone made a MythTV distro)
I am in the process of building a *very* specialized "distro" based
largely on Freevix ( I have distro in quotes because all
I am really doing is making a root image that suits my needs.

The root image is small (~60MB) and based on busybox. It is intended to
run on the EPIA mainboards (in a ramdisk). But it would be pretty easy to
change it to work on other hardware.

I'm having trouble getting the qtmysql plugins to load when I start
mythfrontend (ver 0.8). It says:

Qt: Locales not supported on X server
QSqlDatabase warning: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers:
QSqlDatabase warning: QMYSQL3 driver not loaded
QSqlDatabase: available drivers:
Mutex destroy failure: Device or resource busy
couldn't open db

QTDIR is set. has /usr/lib/qt3/lib

strace shows mythfrontend doing lstat64 on the plugins (,
etc.) with return codes of 0. It "dies" before it tries to load

ldd on the plugins shows all dependendent libs are found.

Now, when X starts up, it has a few complaints:
error opening security policy file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xserver/SecurityPolicy
Couldn't load XKB keymap, falling back to pre-XKB keymap
failed to open catalog, using default messages
X server does not support locale
cannot set locale modifiers

But other than locale, I don't think any of these would cause the problem

If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.
