Recent woes
Hi

I must be doing something wrong but I can’t see what. The issue occurs with freetype as well. A few days ago I got further and posted to the user list, where I was told

It's a bug. Installing Xrandr will work-around it.

jam@gold:~/mythtv-29/mythtv$ ./configure
ERROR: libxml-2.0 not found using pkg-config

If you think configure made a mistake, make sure that you are using the latest
version of MythTV from git. If the latest version fails, report the problem to the
mythtv-dev@mythtv.org mailing list or IRC #mythtv on irc.freenode.net
Include the log file "config.ep" produced by configure as this will help
solve the problem.

That doesn't look right, there should be no reason
that libxml2 requires xrandr installed to be able
to be found.

Freetype is curious too.
